Hey guys,

I'm after a bit of help!?

I've had the traction light on for ages on my S3 2001 facelift. Took it to a specialist who said the longitudinal sensor needs replacing. He replaced it but the light is still there. He is now saying that it looks like a signal problem from the YAW sensor. There's no way I want to spend £500 on this sensor so i'm thinking of getting a second hand one. Does any one know the part number for the YAW please? I know the longitudinal sensor sits on top/front of the YAW.

Also is this a sensor which you can replace yourself? Does is need calibrating? Is it located under the steering column?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

I was always under the impression the ESP sensors were located behind the glove box.

You need to scan it again to see why it's still on..

Having same problem, did you sort this? Im getting esp light come on flashing and brakes grinding then stays on permanently

I had this a while back found it to be the one on the steering column. Sourced a second hand one and was then fine after resetting.

Did it need coding or anything or just plug it in and sorted? If not howd you do it? Might go scrappy if its easy Thanks
