Its been three years im willing to do it but never had the time since I work in USA/Canada and the car is in Lebanon. I have only driven it so little miles in those three years.
On my last vacation I had some work done on it, got some audi TT 17" fat fives wheels, replaced the white/silver alcantara with some black fabric (had no choice), bypassed the N249, installed mbc in parallel with the N75 (can remove it anytime) and attempted to remap it myself along with a freind of mine (who does custom Evo tuning for a living).
to shorten the story, the attempt failed due to software problem, so we reflashed the stock file on the ecu.
We will re-attempt that when my guy will acquire a professional tuning software for vag cars.
Revo, APR and unitronic have a so-so reputation in Lebanon, So I booked the car for a remap at Upsolute, which was recommended to me by many vw gti owners.
To my bad luck I wasnt able to drive the car after the remap since it went directly to get the alcantara replaced, and now im back to Canada.
question is, how to check out if the map is good? what blocks should I log? (will ask my mechanic freind to do it)
I will remove the mbc for the map testing. run only with the N75
I would like to know how my map compare to what you guys are getting, I wished there was someone to do a custom map for me as badger5 or Rtech but no custom map available for vag cars in Lebanon
Pics will come
