Anyone help me with this wire?

Hi,
So today I saw a wire hanging down just behind my bumper, I thought it was a wire for my fog lights but this doesn't seem to be the case as they're all attached. The part number seems to be a general connector for many things and I can't seem to see where it attaches to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its attached to the ambient air temp sensor... from the picture its still plugged in...

So is there a nice little place I can pop it so its not hanging down being scraped on the floor?

On my S3 its part of the horn bracket (a hole)... would assume its the same on the A3 too

That what I was thinking as it did have fog lights in the past, trip to local scrap yard I feel
