Fitted a new MAF (not Bosch) a few weeks ago (3 fill-ups since) and now it surges forwards even though I'm accelerating normally/slowly. It's weird, it makes me look like a lumpy, learner driver....FYI I race karts a lot and have done plenty of proper driving and my car control is pretty good...so it's not me :)

It doesn't do it all the time either. No codes but I only have VCDS Lite.

MAF's really need to be Bosch dude, these ECU's rely heavily on a correctly calibrated maf and unfortunately that means Bosch. Most suppliers tps/dealer/gsf etc give you a partial refund for supplying your old one so it's never crazily expensive. My guess would be thats your cause.

All bets are off with pattern part MAF's dude... even OE ones have their moments... as said above, Bosch MAF's are not as expensive as you would think...

Log block 003 for airflow... you can do that on VCDS lite
