Front outer CV joint boot replacement - how to?

Well, one job leads to another...

Replaced my discs & pads on Saturday, only to discover that my front nearside CV joint boot has split where it is held onto the driveshaft. At least that explains the grease I noticed on the inner surface of my front wheel when I washed the car.

So, does anyone have a "how to" guide for this? I've checked the stickies & can't see one there.

I'm planning on replacing my suspension soon anyway, so I may as well do this all at the same time if I can.

The how to was for an inboard joint but the outer one taps off as there is a compressable clip on the end of the drive shaft to tap the back of the joint to get it over that...
