drivers side front creaking on pull off

on pull off drivers side front starts to creak from the wheel area and when comming of a curb drivers side wheel just drops off hard and curb hits the bottom of car the car is a 1999 s3 apy standard with 68000 on clock

sounds like arb/driveshaft rub to me, are you lowered?

it it from the drivers side when you turn right and drop off a curb? dont know how to explain the noise but its a grinding/rubbing like someone is sliding a wooden chair back on a laminated floor?

jack up the drivers side and check the driveshaft. sounds like the anti roll bar is rubbing on the driveshaft, it is thicker on the drivers side.

maybe get some harder suspension? have you checked you front struts for leaks as they could be bottoming out causing the banging and arb hitting. standard suspension shouldnt do that normally i only had problems over 40mm. im now about 80mm lol.

problem sorted wishbone bolts were loose at the back were they hold on to the sub frame *ucking garage
had put in a new rack and forgot to tighten them wont be going back there again
should i name and shame
