Fully amplified bose system ? But no "bose" written on speakers

Been to halfords and i apparently have a bose system even tho i dont have it written on speakers , the stock stereo says bose when turned on.
My car is a 2000 plate s3 8l, i have fitted a new headunit and am getting interferance but hopefully this will go with the pc9410 cable from autoleads.
I am hoping to fit an active sub also can this be done along side a already amplified system ? Will it sound ok ? Any ideas anyone

Yes, with an aftermarket HU you can just run normal RCA's for the sub amp, hopefully your new HU has a dedicated sub pre-out

Yes it does i made sure of that when buying .... do u know if the pc9410 will stop the interferance coming through to the speakers ?
