Auto Choke Sensor? A3?

Hey guys. My A3 1.8T 8L has a issue that is baffling me. Basicly when i first start my car, the auto choke kicks in and it revs at 2000rpm then when it gets warm after 5 mins the revs drop down to normal 850rpm. If i turn the engine off and start it again straight away, the revs go back upto 2000 like its cold..

Any ideas?

an 1.8 t doesnt have a choke, it has a cold start fuel inrichment system, so with that in mind id replace the coolant temp sensor and see if that changes it at all

Funny you should say that as my temp dont work on the dash.. Ive changed the sensor with a ebay green replacement like 5 times and they work the first time i use them then stop working after a few days..
