    Brembo GT replacement pads

I need new brake pads from my Brembos.

Should I just fit Brembo pads again or does anyone else recommend different pads for use with the Brembos?

    Cheers
    Grant

    Re: Brembo GT replacement pads

The OE Brembo pads are the most expensive option, DavidR recommends Ferodo DS3500 IIRC at around 90, I'm currently using OMP pads which I won on ebay for 20 lol, admittedly, they are not as good as the Brembo items when cold, but warmed up, they are pretty effective. I think Greenstuff or Redstuff pads arealso an option, but not heard of any feedback...

I'm changing my porker pads to eithe M1144 or M1155 Mintex pads (M1155 being more for trackday). I would try the Ferodo but at 176 for the porkers, i think i will give it a miss this time around.

when you look at ebc website, the greenstuff are rated as standard fit, so to improve you need red stuff.

last time i spoke to dill, he said the seat leon cupra r boys were using ferodo

also i think you can haggle with sead dealers, mate got a set of brembo pads for 79

    DS2500 are a great track 1st road 2nd pad.

I found the Galfer (standard fit with Brembo) better suited for the road, but not so great for track.

The pads would be for Road Use only. no plans for track days!

David - Are the DS2500 slow to heat up?
