Hey guys, my stock AUM A3 1.8t (150BHP) had a really badly slipping clutch, so we changed it for a brand new one, put everything back and it's still slipping! any ideas as to what this could be? what worries me is the clutch has always been slipping on the gearbox since we bought it, so not sure what the issue could be. Any common faults on these?

Cheers in advance for the replies...

maybe oil leaking on to it if a seal has gone, what condition is the face of the fly wheel in?

Check for a collapsed hose, could be holding the pressure although you have released pedal. Have had many time before. remove all hoses and blow through them, if partially or completely blocked, then replace. Or master cylinder sticking?

Did you replace the flywheel, clutch plate, clutch disk and slave cylinder?
