Petrol seemed to work pretty well last time I did this (on a rag btw lol), good luck and God speed!

Yeh petrol will do it, but i work with industrial paints so thinners was easy and free for me.

You think that's bad - wait until you get onto the tar soaked fabric that's on the floorpan! Heatgun to get most of it off then some sort of thinners (I used white spirit) to get rid of the residue.

got it done today. had a spare hour.

used a hair dryer, ice scraper and industrial strength thinners to get the sticky stuff left after.

looks so much better. going to buy some paint and paint the bits audi missed
