cleaning sealed catch can??

I recently bought andrews bsh catch can which im going to fit to my car but before i do this i was thinking about giving it a clean. Question is whats the best stuff to use to clean out a baffled sealed can??

White spirit? Just shake it around and repeat until it runs clear?

I should of done it before i sent it but as above or any cleaning solvent will do as its all stainless steel inside after my modification to it.
