Hi fellas,
I have a 2002 S3 8L with the Italian copy RA4-6 wheels, 20mm spacers on the rear and 10mm on the front!

Fact is it needs to be a bit lower I can't stretch to coil overs so springs it is!
I need some advice and have a couple of questions.

Firstly springs like the link below lower 25mm on the front but only 20mm at the rear! Why?

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=290879058021&globalID=EBAY-GB

Second, regarding the make of the spring, am I looking at the best for that kind of money or are there better?

Third, do I need to do anything else at this level of drop?

Thanks in advance!

Adam

Having a 5mm spring difference gives the car some rake and aids handling.

Not sure about the price for eibach springs but they're a pretty good make.

My A3, which admittedly I've only owned since sunday has Eibach Pro lines and Bilstein dampers, rides really nice, sits low and handles too!

There is a thread on here some where discussing eibach pro springs... (found one...http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a3-s3-forum-8l-chassis/177931-eibach-springs.html) I had these originally on my Bilstein B8 dampers and never liked the stance... seemed to lower the front ok but the rear just didn't look any lower than std so swapped to -30mm Apex springs... the ride height is perfect now (IMO)

Eibachs give a nice ride though, the Apex are a little firmer but still very comfortable

Thanks Tuffty, I've been offered a second hand (3/4) months by a member at a good price so I will give it a go!
