please help!! mp3 adapter

i have one of those mp3 adapters stuck in my tape deck (symphony II) the whole thing has frozen and cant be turned off none of the buttons work what can I do?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

disconnect the battery perhaps? maybe when u reconnect it will eject the device...?

Can you do a force eject with a straightened out paper clip? This used to work on older aftermarket units. Perhaps a cross post on the ICE forum?

I had a similar thing happen to me at the weekend, i had the tape adapter that i use for my ipod get stuck inside my radio.

The problem with mine was that the thin cable that runs from the cassette got lodged underneath and jammed it. The motor was trying to eject the cassette but couldn't.

I turned off the stereo and managed to free the cabe, turned the stereo back on and out it popped

thanks for ur help people.. turned out it was the symphony that was at fault took it back to the dealer and they sorted it under warenty!
