Juddering acceleration and lumpy idle

Done it the other day when I was playing in the snow and now done it when I took it for a boot, foot down on part of full throttle all gears holds back and kicks in boost gauge stays stable but the speed drops when it kicks back... Taking a quick look at the coil packs, and one of the casings is chipped off exposing a bit of wire, would this lead to the chuddering and bad idle?

No miss fire either, looking on awesome gti and new Coil harnesses, how do I know if I have an oil level sensor or not and how easy are they to fit?

Just went and had a closer look when it's idling and the revs are bouncing the boost gauge is moving aswell so does this point to a vac leak maybe?

Yeah typical vac leak, you dont need the oil part of the loom anyway, so any of the looms will be fine..

Have been looking all day can't find any spilt pipes?! It's not all the time it does this but half the time! No code flagged up can anyone think of what it could be, I got to drive a 150 mile round trip for an interview next week can't afford to break down! Thanks
