double din to single din conversion question

i have a 2001 s3 and want to convert from my double din setup to single din.

so far ive got most things i think. i have bought the inner single cage with climate control / underneath compartment / wiring harness for the sterio conversion. (i have a bose double din sterio set-up at the moment)

what i want to know is , is the ariel going to be a straight fit into my aftermarket sterio or will i need an adapter for that also?

if so could someone point me in the right direction of what i need to buy.

Just a thought but find someone that want to go from single DIN to double DIN and arrange to swap parts one weekend.

i have all the parts though. just wanted to know about the ariel plug. if its a standard one on it just now or needs some kind of adapter.

What are you going to do with you double din bits as I've got single and want to go double.

Drive over to me and i will swap my single din for your double including fitting
if you have heated seats as i need the switches on the Hvac unit (mine has heated seats)

ill be selling the bits once removed. still not got round to doing it yet but will be done in the next few weeks. the sterio / cage / aircon unit and surround will be going altogether hopefully. have to see what interest is kicking about when its time. i dont need any single din bits as i have the lot now.
