climate control part numbers

Hello everybody.

I'm looking for a bit of help with climate control part numbers.

My current climate number is - 8L0820043K

I'm looking to buy 8L0820043H. Will it fit OK and connect up at the back?

Visually mine is the lighter black/grey soft rubberised type and the other part number is the black hard plastic (harder to scratch!).

Also if I decided to fit sat nav RNSE? would I need to change the climate unit again?

Hi Mate

yes both have same connetions and fit above the cubby hole unit.
all facelift climate units have same connections

if you fit a double din you can just trim the climatevsurround using a template made from the cubby hole door
or just buy a double din climate unit off flebay

Hi mate, thanks for your reply. Am I right in thinking there are single and double din climate units? Single din being smaller and double din double the size??!

Hi Millsy

Both similar size
Double din one fits lower down
Facia can be swapped from one to another with small torx screws holding facias on.
the part behind the facia is the same on both units, just the facia is different.(Visually at least)
I just swapped mine when i wired up my heated seats

Double din ones tend to be £80-100 on Fleabay
Normal single din are about £20-30 and easy to trim if you use the cubby door as a template

Depends how handy you are really
