lumba seat support problem

Hi, i was wondering if any body know why my lumba support in my drivers seat wont work,its electric an currently all the way out and very unconfortable

I noticed my wires are nicked near the mechanism to allow passengers into the back seat.
They're quite tight and it was a pain in the *** to remove the seat that i'm just going to live with it

Mines the same yet the support is all the way in and uncomfortable. I prefer it out to support my back. Mine broke ages ago when I was adjusting it on a long motorway journey and I've never got round to fixing it. I'm sure it's a seat out and wire investigatin job.
