The clutch has started to slip occasionally on my 2002 S3. Also the pedal is slow to release, especially when cold.

I have been quoted £580 to change with non-audi parts and £860 from a local garage using genuine Audi spares.

I was thinking about doing it myself as I have a pit in the garage and my dad has done clutch changes before, and have found the following LUK Audi | Euro Car Parts UK’s No.1 Car Parts Retailer for £180.

I just dont know about getting other parts like stretch bolts etc??

Im just in need of some more info on changing the clutch and what else is required on top of the friction plate, pressure plate, and slave cylinder, and also where to get them from?

Cheers,
Ash.
