Vag parts mirrors

Hey guys just confused a bit. The chrome mirrors from vag com don't come with the glass, so can I fit the glass from my current mirrors on? it's an S3 as well so should be ok right? or do I have to order it from Vag parts with the mirrors? plus anyone know how hard or easy it is to take out and replace the mirrors myself?

I'm sure the mirror glass is a straight swap; as for fitting, if you can't find any guide on here using the search, PM Fasteddie as he's changed his recently and could probably give you a detailed guide.
