Recommend main and rod bearings?

I would like to know what bearing shells you guys use for your BT setups?

I used ACL calico bearings first time round and I am a little worried to use them again. Maybe some other issues caused the one rod bearing to spin as I have not found anything wrong that could explain the death of my engine.

They are also pretty expensive compared to OEM bearing shells.

Can OEM bearings handle 8k+ rpm, occasionally

Ive got the calico race series, 10k since engine build and no issues..

Andrew, are you going to use new OEM bearings when you reassemble the engine?

i have seen a couple threads on the interweb, where people have spun calico bearings, but haven't found anyone that's spun an OEM after such a short period. I know it could be user fault.
