rear brace fitting help

need help fitting rear brace. don't know if it me being stupid or not.

this is it.

can't see where it would bolt to

looks like this on the website for fitting, just cant see how its bolted into place. if anyone has fitted one some help would be great

i thought it bolts near to the seat belts bolt but its not long enough

Is that a a3 specific brace or one for a mk4 golf?

mk4 golf. but was told as they share the same shell it should fit.

The shells are different mate from what ive read, their no where to locate the points then?

not that i can see. i got a work colleague whos got a 1.8T 02 Mk4, gunna try and get time to have a look at it tomorrow, see if i can see any difference and if the braces fits in that. will get some photos up tomorrow and report back what i find

hey jay1601, im new on here but been stripping bits out of my a3 today, looking at your brace, looks like it will attach where the rear seat belts bolt into, their should be 2 17mm bolts that will come out and go through hope this helps a little
