FMIC leak?

Hey guys, I was at AMD a few weeks back and showed them my star performance FMIC. They guy said it looked like it's been used before and that it's had a leak in the past which has been sealed. I placed it in a tub of whater and no bubbles and filled it with water and seems fine, but what do u guys think? (it's that yellow stain on the top). I also wanted to ask does anyone know what the black stuff is on top? it's like a black strip.

I would expect a boost leak to perhaps have a bit of oil in it so the area might show up darker and greasy?

The yellow colour may be from the flux in the solder that hasn't been cleaned of after repair.

Can't say what the black is tho. May it was painted in the past?

End tank looks a tad rough, but has long as it works, thats the main thing.
