Engine feels like it's going to stall upon slow braking

Just had the some work done on the car. new clutch and shocks, also secondhand hub carriers and discs. This morning driving to work, the car felt like it was going to stall everytime i starting braking. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

Any ideas?

COULD be the same problem I had with my Golf - throttle body needed cleaning.

did you have a garage do it for you, or did you do it yourself?

im not very mechanical, so had garage do it. wait for teh more experienced replies !!
