Got s3 2001 std avus wheels 225 45 17 What tyres are you running or would recommend.

Im running Falken FK452`s and i like them alot a good tyre for a reasonable price.

They have just released the FK453 so i will be trying them i think on my next tyre purchase

Conti contact sport 3, apparently they got best tyre in EVO magazine

For your car and with the dimension 225 45R 17 91Y you have some really interessting tyres! Since I don't really know what you are looking for considering performance, here is a list of tyres that according to different tests perform well:

Continental ContiSportContact 5
Bridgestone Potenza S001
Michelin Pilot Sport 3

It's also four tyres that we tested on track and that we distinguished by their performance!

michelin pilot sport 3
gives amazing grip around corners and feels glued to the road at all times
i would recommend these to anyone, well worth the money imo

Agreed, I have 22/45/17s with PS3s and love them.

Ive had Good Year Eagle F1s, Bridgestone Potenza RE050s, Conti Sport 3s as well and they were all great.

This time round I went for Firestone SZ90s and I am very impressed with them, got all 4 fitted for just over £300 (225/45/17).
