The female plactic connector on my rear wash wiper managed to crack & left the hose dangling around behind the trim washing the inside of my tailgate ! Not as serious as it could of been, i tried a home made DIY fix but i struggled to connect the hoses. Anyway i thought about it for a few days & ordered a barbed nylon 4mm inline connector & 500mm of 4mm (internal diameter) PVC tubing with the hope this would work. It took a while to stretch the hose over the male connector, i used a lighter to warm it up ! Once in place it wasnt coming off & as a precaution i wrapped a zip tie round it.
