I have a 2001 S3 and I have noyiced a funny noise when I am braking. Just as the car is about to come to a complete stop there is a rattle/knocking noise from the left side under the bonnet. It almost sounds like there is a marble rolling around somewhere under the bonnet that moves with the forward momentum of the car coming to a halt!
I am thinking the noise is from the abs unit but wondered if this was normal or if anyone else has heard of this?
