16" Mk3 Golf VR6 wheels on an S3?

Not for looks, I've been looking locally for something to put on whilst I get my 19's refurbed, theres a set come up with brand new ditch finders on for £80. Will they clear the calipers?

Depends on offset and design of alloys. I used a set of Golf4 4Motion 16s on my S3 when I had my 19s refurbed a qhile back, and they just about cleared the front standard calipers. Brembo's, no chance with 16s.

Cheers jojo, they're the standard BBS ones that were on the VR6 at the time. I've only got standard brakes. I might ring matey and try one on.
