Headlight Bulbs - Crap Info @ AutoBulbsDirect

Ordered new headlight bulbs the other day, input my registration to AutoBulbsDirect website, was advised I needed H1 & H7 bulbs so duly ordered them up. Went to fit them today and it's H4 & H7 I need. It's a Dec '99 registered A3 Sport, pre-facelift. H4 & H7 normal for this car?Rob

It seems all websites have bulbs messed up for the 8l.

Mines a facelift and it doesn't come up with the right bulbs.

I'll hopefully get them exchanged for H4's, went for Osram NightBreaker Plus bulbs, I drive a lot on country roads with no street lighting so these should be better than what I've got at the moment

I think you'll be happy with your choice, I got them for my fog lights, light output is great even going through a subtle tint film on the lense.

On the verge of ordering night breakers for my dipped beam rather than installing HID's

Interestingly "Osram" literally means "I will ****" in Polish.
