i recently changed the temp sender as i had a fault code come up, not sure what one at this moment in time, when the new one went in, code was still there so i put the one one in, when the ignition is on i get 3 beeps and a thermometer flashing on the dash, now this happens even if the engine is off, im guessing this is the thermostat and can a faulty thermostat cause bad fueling

looking to do rear diff oil soon, what grade and what volume does it hold?

and are the rear brakes on my a3 quattro, pre facelift the same size as s3 rears?

thanks

The dash warning is coolant level... either the coolant is low or possibly a dirty sensor...

A stat won't cause 'bad fuelling' but if the

Rear diff oil is 75W90 semi or fully synth GL5 (don't use GL5 spec for the gearbox though)

and for the rear diff its 1L? is it worth putting a new stat in just for the sake of it?
