That is shockingly bad. I expect mine would be like that if I tested it It's a cheep, ****e comedy sized thing that came on a Passat I broke a while ago, but it was all I had at the time. Must get around to getting an OE one for it sometime. Probably do it when I replace the 'that'll get it going for now' TIP. Not looking forward to that, space down there's at a bit of a premium!

I think for anything non-structural without moving parts, cheep Chinese stuff can be fine, look at the Welly-cooler and things like that, but anything that's design is actually open to interpretation, or more importantly anything that needs decent tolerances and it's bad news 99% of the time.
