Stuck mirror screw

Hi , In the process of repairing my mirror but one of the underside screws ( closest to car) is stuck in ( the mirror isnt attatched properly , the top is away from the bottom the /tabs are apart) and trying to undo only strips the head , have sprayed lube inside to no luck .... Any ideas?

hi if its the plastic cover under the mirror i had the same problem the other day. drill around the screw into the plastic so you have a complete circle of holes around the screw you can then break the cover the use mole gripes or pliers to remove the screw but do this fairly gently so it dosnt snap. a new plastic cover from audi is 7.85 :thumbsup:
