would the blue controller likely be faulty?

That's what I'm thinking but i have never heard of a blue one being faulty, plus with all the codes above and the esp light on the 4wd still all works.

I have one and mine is faulty.... Works perfectly but with issues....

Locks and clunks when I'm doing 3 point turns....It also clicks all the time.... Something to do with the canbus i think...Other than that works a treat....lol

Just an update. i returened the controller and brought a brand new one from the tt shop. I brought the race one that keeps the rears locked under braking they do both the normal blue and race(also blue in colour).

all works ok now. so the controller was faulty.

How much was that mate? I want one but know they aint cheap.

It was £790 including postage same price as the normal blue one i phoned them up and asked for the competition one, but the said to me the standard blue one is called the competition over here and the race is the one that keeps the rears locked under braking. the race is the same as what is sold as the hpa competition in usa, although the race is made by haldex but the competition in usa is made by hpa.

clicky

i rang the tt shop a while back (just before xmas) and they said they only sell blue not comp controller.
780 plus vat.
i was gonna buy this one this month(comp).
thanks i will give them a ring and find out

yea all there controllers are blue but they are apparently called competition and race.

it is £789.99 delivered including vat

phone them up and ask for the race controller for gen1 haldex

have you noticed the rear giving extra braking?
Did you notice any difference to the other controller?
thanks

i havent notice much under braking as such its just i tend to brake late into the corner so having the controller that keeps the haldex engauaged helps the balance when you go back to accelerate as it doesnt need to load up the haldex again.

the faulty blue one i had did work as such and you could feel it kicking in the rears, as with the race it seems to be 50/50 pretty much all the time as you dont really feel it kick in as its already enguaged.
