Can somebody recommend a good place to get this done, in outer sides of Birmingham, (Bromsgrove/Redditch/Shirley/Solihull etc)
I have my new suspension to go on, then replacing the bushes in the wish bones then I will be wanting this done start of march. cheers guys.
ooh, and rough price too.

Cheers both, don't think its needed now as the coilovers I ordered from demon-tweeks earlier at there online price has now cancelled on there behalf instead of them selling me at the stated price. Not happy

Hrm naughty naughty..

Hunter is the brand i'm told is good for alignment..? Anyone been to a 'formula 1 autocentre?' as they use hunter?

As it happens ive just had a look at the hunter system in quickfit. Told me my front toe was out a smidge, £40 to straighten up. Each further angle adjusted would be £20. Bit steep imo, but probably worth the free check anyway :D

Nooo Dont take it to them places..... It needs to be a specialist who know the chassis and knows the rear trailing arm has adjustment, as far as im aware they are not even set up for 4WA...

Does the a3 8L have trailing arm adjustment? Might have to take it to the specialist who fitted the beam bushes, kwikfits machine showed no data for it...

Midland VW Cannock can do 4WA not sure how far that is for the op though

Mine had the hunter system..needed the subframe adjusted in the end but I must say I had hit a very large pot hole and slammed the rear wheel in the snow.
Now drives very true and feels like a new car.
The place I used in MK was the place most of the body shops took their cars to be aligned.whilst I was there found out that the local dealership used them as well.
Kwikfit no.

Need to be careful with a lot of places, some companies thinks that because they have these sensors on all four wheels, they call themselves four wheel alignment, when it's just tracking!

I was happy with the service I got from Chemix, the guy was helpful and showed me all around the car what he could adjust, instead of just sitting in a waiting room!

Anyone recommened a good place in south yorkshire as mine is shot after all the suspension work.

How much he charge jojo. Cheers for the info every1

I was charged £30+vat(£36) for front tracking, and rear toe adjustment. He wasn't happy he couldn't get the rears into green though, I said I had adjustable tie bars to go on, so I think he charged me less, as I said I'd be back once I fitted them.

nice 1 mate, Demon-tweeks are currently trying to quote me the same suspension kit for a golf/bora for a discounted price, as long as its for 4wd then I might be interested..

Have you tried Damian at DPMPerformance? He's usually pretty good with these things.

I too would be interested if anyone knew of somewhere in South/East Yorkshire, as I'm looking at doing some suspension work in the near future..
