why dont my headlight washers work

hi all have any of you had problems with there head light washers as mine dont seen to do anything ?

Does the headlight washer motor run?

Could be relay, faulty motor, blocked hose, hose off, faulty washer jet thingys...

You need to turn the lights on for them to work, then there is a delay whilst still holding the stalk, about 5 seconds before they operate...

Windscreen washers need to be held on for a few seconds before they kick in... its so you don't wash the headlights every time you go to do the windscreen plus they only come on when the lights are on anyway...

If they still don't come on while the lights are on and you have operated the washers for 3 to 5 seconds then do what Mark said

check the fuse!!!. i replaced pump, cleaned out hoses DOO!!!!!

i should have checked the fuse first!!!!!

driver side box although i cant remember the number

Or in my case, the thing that goes on the end of the headlamp washer motor seems to have come off on my car. It's a bumper off job to fix, and I just haven't got round to fixing it yet to start a 'how to'. lol (along with another million odd jobs on hold)
