as above.

Will go to Krych of bristol as they are extremely good (and only official Recaro repairer in the area) but I'm not sure what to do.

Recaro leather isn't cheap, the patch will not be exact but can i warrant another small fortune on the old girl.

thoughts anyone?

Have thought about it....but most have done about £100k miles and are likely to be having the same problem shortly if not already.

Seen a few examples but who knows...

You can get replacement 'seat covers' from a dealer... was looking into it for when I first got my S3 to replace the bobbly alcantara... IIRC, the main seat squab was just over 200 quid... obviously you need to fit it but seemed a good deal...

I believe that you can get the panels to retrim the whole seat but no idea of the cost vs getting it done at a retrimmers...
