I received this in the post today so thought i would do a comparison showing the difference between the new one and the old one.

I also took that bolt out so we could see how the seal is fitted:

Royal mail. cocked the delivery of mine twice today so... i should get it tomorrow if the actualy find it at the depo ,
I thought the seal must be held in place . your picture shows me just that and that the inside now has a much reduced volume so no need for a shim im guessing.

Yeah its held in a lot better than i thought it would be.

I'm just wondering if the weight will make any difference.

i just asked for the latest service kit and piston, its just a simple evolution to be fair, so all good..
