    Cylinder compression question ?

    I did a compression test on the stroker rebuild. I got around 150psi per cylinder. I thought it would of been higher, like around 180psi.

    Do you think once the rings are settled in the compression will be better?

    What CR pistons have you fitted?

    Also with static CR many things can impact it

    Need to run the engine in first dude... rings won't have bedded in and compression will be rubbish... bed um in then check again..

    I have never tested the compression of a fresh engine before, always been tested after is run.
    I hope it's a lot better once it's run it.

    Thanks for the link, it's pretty much how we break in the rebuilt V8's - hammer them

    I did answer marks question, posted just after your post about it being run it

    The CR is 9.0:1
