Hello. A few newbie questions

Hello Everyone,

I will be buying a second hand car in the next few months to replace my Mk1 Golf GTI. Originally i was going to buy a Golf V6 4 Motion but I have changed my mind now to an S3. Is there anything i should be looking out for when buying one? I will be spending around the 14k mark. I have a set of 8.5 by 18" SAT RS Split rims that came off a MK4 Golf GTI. Will they fit ok or are they too wide?

Check out the post 'S3 What U Think', a lady there is after a 14-18K S3, so you'll find the info your are looking for in there.

On the 18" sorry don't know that one, maybe the Tuning Forum has info on that or do a search on 18" tyres at the bottom right.
