Can anyone shed some light, I have an Audi s3 8l 2003 model I had my turbo off today when I put it back on I decided too pull fuse 28 for fuel pump too prime turbo but the fuse was not blown but melted I changed it and car started ok fuse didn't get hot or melt as yet, what could cause this any ideas?

It will most likely be because its drawing too much current... this is typically due to it being put under a heavier load than normal... I'd replace your fuel filter if you haven't already... it could also be a sign the pumps on its way out...

Also check your fuel trims... if they are quite a high additive value on LTFT's then check the FPR vac pipe is in good nick...
