Cold air feed with smic

Hi guys I'm planing on changing from pipercross panel filter to a jetex cone and heat shield on my s3 mtm for a bit more noise and hopefully maybe nick a couple extra bhp.
i was wondering if it is possible to do a cold air feed to the cone filter with the side mounted intercoolers or can this only be done with a front mounted intercooler ?

you think the jetex and shield will be ok with out a feed ?

I don't run a feed. There's no major evidence to show that a cold feed improves performance that much. Have a read of the other cold feed post in the 8L section as its been discussed in there.
