Wheels from an 8p do they fit an 8l?

Hi,
Looking to change the 18" wheels that are heavily scuffed and chipped on my A3 8L and have come across some 17" standard alloys from an A3 8P approx 2005 model, have they got the correct PCD etc to bolt straight on?
Current wheels...

Not directly no... 8P wheels are 5x112 pcd and 8L wheels are 5x100 pcd... you would have to use pcd adaptors for 5x112 but suspect the offsets of the wheels would be an issue here...

I don't believe so, pretty sure the 8p us 5x112 while the 8l is definitely 5x100.
