I have an old 1999 T Reg A3, generally its in good condition but I have the rust in the rain channel on the drivers side!. I have apporached a few bodyshops who have said yes its possible to fix but will cost abit. I know its a fiddly job but I got a general impression why get it done?, its an old car etc etc, but its my car!. Today I was quoted about £450 when you value the car you have to say well why bother get rid!.
Anyway I hope you get my drift, I want to get it sorted and keep the car as I love it!, I am not in a position to really buy and insure and newer car wish I could. Do any members live in Hertfordshire area? and could recommend a good reasonable bodyrepair specialist who will perhaps understand why I want to get the repair done? Also what sort of figure should I be looking at paying if anyone has had the same work done?
