how to remove rear boot catch??

rear boot catch is leaking ever so slight has any one taken one off before ??

looks easy from just looking but rather make sure..

i have looked on search bar just doesnt gve me enough info

Pop the boot trim off and then away you go, really easy, just be careful with the trim as i split mine in half nearly, im quite heavy handed lol.

ive taken out the rear wiper motor as it dead and de-wiper it now but the lock itself is leaking bit werid does the wiper motor pressure the catch/lock to seal??

I dont get what you mean mate that the lock is leacking, you mean the actual lock that that connects to the chassis to lock the boot?

yeah the grab handle from outside the inside lock that moves seems like its leaking some how cant work it out

Argh i get you, i thought you meant the inside locking mechanise thats on the base of the boot lid.

you sure its the boot handle and the blanking plug? How have you capped of the water feed to the wiper? Could be that, thats leaking.
