turbo help ??

Hi guys I've just bought an Audi a3 (I'm a newbie) and trying to find out what turbo is on it. My car is the A3 1.8t 2000 AUM first registered 20.10.2000. Does anyone no where I can find out what turbo it is? Thanks

Most people don't realise how good the K03's are.

If it's your daily driver then you need nothing more than 240bhp and a solid lump of stage 2 torque. :icon_thumright:

Shopping list is...

Jetex filter (order from Bill @ Badger5)
3" downpipe and decat (eBay)
Backbox if you fancy it
Forge 007p (eBay)
Generic silicone turbo intake pipe (eBay)
PCV delete items and a catch can
N249 bypass
Make sure the cambelt and water pump are done, PROPER service and drop the sump to check the pickup pipe/replace.

THEN stage 1.5 mapping to get 220bhp.

S3 312mm brake upgrade.
Eibach/Whiteline rear anti roll bar kit
Coilovers (-£200 ones on ebay)
eBay special turborevs/toyosport FMIC (eBay)
Forge MAP sensor tube.
Coldside DV relocation kit and spring set (needed to fit FMIC)
Loads of vac' hose so you can replace all the leaky **** under the inlet
OEM K04001 actuator
VR6 clutch and G60 flywheel

Stage 2 mapping and fingers crossed 240bhp if your engine is healthy

That should keep you going for the next 12 months. Good luck.
