Hi,

I just did a video showing how to remove/refit the electric adjuster on the S3 facelift headlight unit.

It's the same for the A3 halogens I believe - dunno if it applies to other models.

Show's how to do it with the light unit sitting on your lap but it's just as easy to do with it in the car.

I really just wanted to show how simple it is to do without any force or damage to the clips.

Hope this helps someone.

Liam

Thanks Liam for sharing this information as it will be useful to others. :) x

Thanks Liam, handy thread this is, ou dipped headlight beam lands about 6 feet in front of the car so definately needs adjustment of some kind, on my now ex S4 Cabrio it did a headlight height search/ adjust whenever the lights where turned on.

You might find you can take the adjuster apart and fix it.

I took my old / dodgy one apart and found there were some contacts that weren't seating properly. Very easy to fix if that's the problem.
