s3 gearbox removal

just to confirm, the audi s3 gearbox can be taken off without takin transfer box off wich i had to find out the hard way lol, was told by around 6 people who work in garages that the prop and tb hat to be taken off inorder to remove the gear box???

you have to undo the 3 bolts on the prop, remove the driveshaft on the o/s, using a long 6mm iirc allen key undo the bolt in the centre of the T/box drive flange slide off the transfer box then remove the gearbox as if it was a FWD car, its not that bad to do mate
