S3 BAM - 3" TIP with standard air box

Hi guys, I have searched but didn't find anything on this....

I've just aquired a 2nd hand 3" TIP and was thinking about fitting it to my standard air box and potentially just drilling the air box for some extra noise.

My question is can it be done or does the 3" TIP not match up with a standard air box?

Has anyone ever done it?

I think the tip connects to the maf sensor before the air box so you'll be ok but would get a filter soon too

it can be made to fit anything. with the OEM airbox you'l just have to trim the top part of the TIP. cut a little at a time till it sits nice
