What are the Symptoms of a damaged or faulty hub?

hubs dont really go, its the attached components unless it is damaged trying to removed a seized part like wheel bearing etc.

neversaydie,

It does squeal, and the frequency has increased on cornering, and there is vibration on braking only.

Cheers guys for the reply

those could both be break related, might be worth having a good look at the pads and disc, if not could be the wheel bearing.

just my 2p

I've had this issue for months now. I've had the discs and pads changed Three times, so am keeping my fingers crossed that it's the bearing, as it can hopefully be sorted and put to bed :)

Had a simular prob on an old car turned out to be the bottom ball joint. it felt fine when i tugged and pulled on it but still it squeeked while cornering slowly. eventually stripped it down and i dont know how the thing was working it was well fubared.
