Oil Pick Up Pipe??

Hi Guys,

Will be changing my oil soon on S3 & as I've only had it a year don't really know if Oil Pick Up pipe has been renewed.

I've heard this is important to the turbo's life?

How important is this to change & can anyone give me a brief idea of the procedure????

The pick up pipe and seal cost about £15 retail, a tube of OEM sump seal is about £12 retail (iirc) thats £27, now if you dont change the pick up then you run the risk of seizing your engine (like the last owner done to my TQS) tbh the question should be can i afford not to change it
